Road Races

5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2—all the K’s.

There’s something truly special about people coming together—for a cause, for community, and for competition with themselves.

Even as a college athlete, I was never a great runner, but I’ve always been drawn to these events. Whether it’s a run, fun run, walk, bike, or even a skip, the energy and camaraderie are both contagious and humbling. Every participant, no matter their pace, is pushing toward the same goal: to cross that finish line while supporting others along the way. The dedication, sportsmanship, and personal triumphs I witness at every race are awe-inspiring, and my goal as a photographer is to capture that essence.

Since 2017, I’ve had the privilege of photographing dozens of road races, documenting the moments that define the journey—costumes, smiles, sweat, and tears. I also love capturing the loved ones on the sidelines, the friends and family who cheer, encourage, and celebrate each milestone.

In my photography, I strive to showcase the incredible people, raw energy, and powerful emotions that make road races unforgettable.
